There is a frustrating contradiction when it comes to the way public information is assessed for factual truth.\u00a0\u00a0For decades, prominent news organizations have steadily lost credibility<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0Fewer Americans<\/span> than ever believe what The New York Times, CNN, NPR, or even the AP publishes as the \u201cobjective\u201d record of current events.\u00a0\u00a0At the same time, however, alternative, competing descriptions of current events are almost entirely ignored.\u00a0\u00a0No matter how compelling or factually sourced a story might be, it is largely disregarded until mainstream corporate news institutions are willing to recognize its validity.<\/p>

This annoying state of affairs<\/span> was highlighted last week after Dr. Anthony Fauci refused to testify before the Senate.\u00a0\u00a0Although the man holds one of Joe Biden\u2019s get-out-of-jail-free autopen pardons, Fauci cowardly asserted his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination more than a hundred times.\u00a0\u00a0With a general pardon in hand that presumably allows him to get away with past acts of mass murder, he could put himself in legal jeopardy only by not telling the truth while under oath at the hearing.\u00a0\u00a0So long as Fauci avoided newly committing perjury, there was no risk to his liberty.\u00a0\u00a0The fact that he nevertheless remained mum the whole time revealed a particularly guilty conscience: Fauci could not bear the thought of admitting to the world that he told numerous lies in the past.<\/p>\n

To be sure, Fauci\u2019s lies<\/span> are huge and unforgivable.\u00a0\u00a0He lied about COVID arising from inter-species transmission in an outdoor meat market rather than from a bioweapons laboratory re-engineering coronaviruses in Wuhan, China.\u00a0\u00a0He lied about not having partially funded deadly coronavirus research at that lab as part of a workaround to American regulatory prohibitions against such dangerous projects.\u00a0\u00a0He lied about COVID\u2019s lethality, especially with regard to young or healthy bodies.\u00a0\u00a0He lied about the efficacy of simple masks to prevent viral transmission.\u00a0\u00a0He lied about the need to close schools and businesses.\u00a0\u00a0He lied about the need for draconian home confinements.\u00a0\u00a0He lied about the effectiveness of the experimental mRNA injections that he called \u201cvaccines.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0He lied about the proven effectiveness of alternative treatments.\u00a0\u00a0He lied about the effectiveness of natural immunity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

His lies were profound, and because mainstream news institutions refused to question anything he said, his lies were the only bits of information allowed to circulate in the public sphere.\u00a0\u00a0So-called \u201cjournalists\u201d not only repeated verbatim exactly what the government\u2019s chief medical bureaucrat claimed to be true but also cheered social media platforms for censoring competing points of view.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cReporters\u201d working for The New York Times and CNN were enthralled by Fauci\u2019s perceived professional prestige and institutional authority.\u00a0\u00a0Why?\u00a0\u00a0Because they are enamored of their own perceived professional prestige and institutional authority.\u00a0\u00a0They worship glory and accolades; they are slaves to appeals to authority; they care nothing for the pursuit of truth.<\/p>\n

This is why so many \u201cjournalists\u201d jumped to defend Fauci\u2019s honor after his embarrassing refusal to say anything truthful.\u00a0 MSNOW\u2019s Lawrence O\u2019Donnell insisted<\/span> that the dishonorable doc had \u201cdone more in service to this country than\u2026the entire current United States Senate combined.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0CNN\u2019s Jake Tapper pretended<\/span> that he wasn\u2019t having dinner parties with Fauci while the rest of America was kept in lockdown and isolation.\u00a0\u00a0And CNN \u201cmedia analyst\u201d Brian Stelter continued to ignore<\/span> how both Jake Tapper and Dana Bash developed unethical<\/span> personal relationships with Fauci while CNN\u2019s \u201cjournalists\u201d portrayed the health bureaucrat\u2019s lies as unquestionable \u201ctruths.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you need a reminder of just how sanctimonious and authoritarian mainstream media mouthpieces were during the Reign of COVID Tyranny, watch this video montage<\/span> of Jake Tapper and other hysterical fearmongers demanding that Americans submit to the COVID police state and do everything Fauci required of them.\u00a0\u00a0In that video, Fauci menacingly tells Americans, \u201cNow is the time to do what you are told.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Around that time, CNN\u2019s quack medical expert, Dr. Leana Wen, argued<\/span> that the \u201cunvaccinated\u201d should not be \u201callowed\u201d to leave their homes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Almost a year after Fauci privately admitted<\/span> in his diary that COVID had not emerged from a wet market, NPR was pumping out this propaganda<\/span> on its social media accounts: \u201cA new poll finds 40% of respondents believe in a baseless conspiracy theory that the coronavirus was created in a lab in China.\u00a0\u00a0There is zero evidence for this.\u00a0\u00a0Scientists say the virus was transmitted to humans from another species.\u201d<\/p>

NPR lied.\u00a0\u00a0The laboratory origin of COVID was not a \u201cbaseless conspiracy theory.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0There was plenty of evidence available in late-2019 and early-2020 to support the theory that the virus had escaped (inadvertently or intentionally, we still do not know) from a Chinese pathogen lab.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cScientists say\u201d is just a lazy rhetorical appeal to authority that real journalists do not use as an intellectual crutch.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

But NPR is a propaganda outfit.\u00a0\u00a0Its people are incapable of making arguments backed by reasonable evidence.\u00a0\u00a0This is the same institution, after all, that covered up Hunter Biden\u2019s incriminating laptop story during the 2020 presidential election by lying<\/span>, \u201cWe don\u2019t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don\u2019t want to waste the listeners\u2019 and readers\u2019 time on stories that are just pure distractions.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Instead, NPR parroted the lies of fifty-one Deep State Intelligence propagandists who undermined<\/span> the election by falsely attributing Biden\u2019s laptop to \u201cRussian disinformation.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0NPR also never stopped pushing the Russia Collusion Hoax.<\/p>\n

With regard to COVID, the so-called \u201cexperts\u201d and mainstream \u201cjournalists\u201d were wrong about everything.\u00a0\u00a0Nevertheless, with an astonishing mix of pseudoscience, moral blackmail, and blatant hypocrisy, they arrogantly demanded that Americans believe everything they said.\u00a0\u00a0Six years later, even after Fauci has been exposed as a murdering fraud, the same \u201cexperts\u201d and \u201cjournalists\u201d refuse to admit their culpability for excusing crimes against humanity and discarding the Bill of Rights\u2019 protections for Americans\u2019 personal freedoms.\u00a0\u00a0And because they will not relent in defending their past lies, we cannot properly move beyond the COVID crimes committed against us.\u00a0\u00a0Our society is stuck, enveloped in a discredited narrative that our \u201cprestigious institutions\u201d refuse to correct.<\/p>\n

Yet the mainstream media\u2019s COVID disinformation campaign is only one instance of a multi-front information war against the public.\u00a0\u00a0Mainstream corporate news institutions have proven incapable of telling the truth.\u00a0\u00a0They get every big, consequential news story dead wrong.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

These same propagandists spent years telling us that President Trump was a Russian spy and that Russian President Vladimir Putin rigged the 2016 election.\u00a0\u00a0Despite breathless coverage that occasionally gets regurgitated to this day, neither news story was true.\u00a0\u00a0While mainstream media mouthpieces hypnotized the public with lies, they covered up three real monumental stories<\/span>: (1) Hillary Clinton\u2019s campaign paid for the Steele Dossier that framed Donald Trump as a Russian agent.\u00a0\u00a0(2) The American Intelligence Community used Clinton\u2019s fraudulent dossier as an excuse to spy on Donald Trump.\u00a0\u00a0(3) Furthermore, the Obama administration had been spying on all of the Republican candidates prior to Trump\u2019s nomination.\u00a0\u00a0The institutional press \u2014 the so-called \u201cguardians of the First Amendment\u201d \u2014 ignored the greatest political scandals in our lifetimes.\u00a0\u00a0Why?\u00a0\u00a0Because they support Clinton and Obama completely and will do anything to destroy President Trump.\u00a0\u00a0That\u2019s not \u201cjournalism\u201d; that\u2019s information warfare.<\/p>\n

Together, the Russia Collusion Hoax and the Reign of COVID Tyranny proved just how monstrously dishonest mainstream \u201cjournalists\u201d really are.\u00a0\u00a0There is nothing too preposterous for them to present as \u201ctruth\u201d if doing so advances their preferred political narrative.\u00a0\u00a0Given that this is the case, a reasonable person must assume that everything a credentialed member of the press says is a lie.\u00a0\u00a0Strangely, some of the biggest names in news still seem to believe<\/span> that they have credibility.\u00a0\u00a0For the life of me, I cannot tell whether \u201cjournalists\u201d suffer more from hubris or incurable idiocy.<\/p>
