We all carry the child inside. The 40-year-old plumber, the tough, hardened CEO, the Marine storming the beach, the President of the U.S. in the Situation Room —\u00a0all carry the kid inside. It\u2019s not bad or good. It\u2019s just part of who we are as humans- part and parcel of \u201cthe architecture of the human mind\u201d as\u00a0the brilliant Professor Gad Saad would frame it.\u00a0<\/p>

The adult, tapping into this kid down inside, may sometimes be enriching and productive. It\u2019s wonderful to channel that kid again-playing monster vs. Spiderman with one\u2019s grandkids. But, as with most things in life, good things also come with dangers. The adult who channels the child in inappropriate ways and at wrong times can lead himself to terrible places with awful consequences. This is what we now have in America- millions of Democrats in adult bodies channeling their child to shape and move through the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We essentially have a civil war going on in our country. The \u201cprogressive\u201d\/liberal project is awash in the world of the child. Almost every word, feeling, thought, and policy prescription out of the mouth of these people is that of the little boy or girl. It is a broadband, full-throated demand of the kid at the front and center of life. Their arguments are clear and unashamedly put into the open now that they feel energized by child-adults like Mamdani getting elected to office. Big Mommy and Daddy in government know how to make all things right in life. \u201cSharing is caring,\u201d so hand over your property, you rich, white, cisgendered, heterosexual, Christian and Jewish oppressors, to bring in our socialist utopia. Tune into their leaders almost any night for the relentless and beyond foolish and childish rant.<\/p>\n

And this is why, here in the deepest of child-powderpuff-blue of states, my state of Maryland, we just received another perfect example of this foolishness and harm. Our Montgomery Democrats (as naturally child-channeling as they come in America)\u00a0made a new\u00a0law,\u00a0Expedited Bill 23-26E. It basically guts our Second Amendment rights. It says that though a good and law-abiding adult American citizen may be awarded a concealed carry gun permit (thanks, they\u2019ll argue, to the fascist conservatives on the Supreme Court), he may not carry the weapon into thousands of areas in the county — areas designated as places of public gathering. Now, how childishly clever is that for our Democrat Socialists of America to try to destroy our adult right to protect ourselves with one fell swoop of perverting basic adult American law?<\/p>

In this particular Maryland case regarding guns, the world is seen by the Democrat as a puerile Unicornia where nasty, loud, yucky, dangerous guns must be banned, except for those massive numbers left in the hands of the kind, gentle, and always considerate Moms and Dads of Government. The State as parent will, from their perspective, use them to stop bad guys despite the adult fact that bad guys are usually long gone by the time Mom and Dad arrive. And, of course, from the view of our Bernies, AOC\u2019s, Warrens, and Mamdanis, the powerfully armed Mom and Dad would never turn those guns on their own wards. This, despite the adult mind knowing that ever since homo sapiens came down from the trees, such State parental leaders, drunk with power, have been regularly oppressive, tyrannizing, raping, stealing from, and murdering their flocks.<\/p>\n

Our American Founders were the embodiments of a mature, wise, and adult\u00a0view of life. They understood the severe danger of the childlike view of life. They understood the inherently flawed nature of man and the corrupting influence of concentrated power handed to them. They knew, as all of us with the adult mindset know today, that America is in no way immune from becoming even the most vicious and oppressive tyranny. Indeed, the child is in all of us, but so is the tyrant. Madison, Jefferson, and Washington knew as mature adults that our glorious Second Amendment serves as a powerful bulwark against this evil — this unleashing of the foolish kid or dangerous tyrant.<\/p>\n

So, the Democrat leaders of Maryland have done what they always do: channeled the child again. It makes us American adults every more subjugated, weak, vulnerable, disempowered, and resentful. Growing up is difficult to do. Our great American Founders did and showed us the way. It\u2019s called being knowledgeable about history and human nature. It\u2019s called being a strong, free, virtuous, self-reliant American adult who stands firm for his natural or God-given Second Amendment rights. It\u2019s called leaving that kid aside to frolic with the grandkids-while the adult man or woman structures a liberty-rich and happy American life.<\/p>
