According to news reports, DNC Chairman Ken Martin is not making a lot of friends lately. This is the story:<\/p>

Democrats say they have lost patience with Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Ken Martin amid his precarious tenure at the national party.<\/p>\n

Some members of the party see the problems facing Martin as creating an unwelcome distraction for Democrats as they look to flip control of Congress this fall. And a rash of headlines and social media chatter about Martin over the weekend have only exacerbated the problems facing the DNC chair.<\/p>\n

The New York Times <\/em>reported the party chair has been increasingly anxious about losing his job and threw a phone at an aide\u2019s desk earlier this month in frustration, prompting a human resources complaint. Sources told the Times<\/em> that Martin met with human resources after the incident. The DNC declined to comment to The Hill<\/em> about the incident.<\/p>\n

The party also received renewed attention around its finances this week. While it had been previously reported that the DNC took out a $15 million line of credit last fall, Washington, D.C., property deeds, first reported by NOTUS, confirmed the national party specifically put up its building as collateral for the loan — a measure the DNC has previously undertaken with other loans over the years.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ken has two problems:<\/p>\n

First, the party waited too long to kick out all those Socialist Democrats running under their name. No one stood up and told them to go down the street and look for the building with a red flag with a hammer and sickle. These socialists, or whatever they call themselves, should have never been allowed to run as Democrats and naturally threw the party into disarray. I guess Ken Martin deserves a lot of blame here, but he is not alone. Where was President Obama? President Clinton? VP Harris and others? No one stood up to these people, and now it’s time to start throwing phones.<\/p>\n

Second, and related to the first problem, the party’s messages leave most Americans wondering what they mean. The establishment Democrats just hate Trump because they are scared of a primary. The new arrivals, the Socialist Democrats, hate the country. The problem is that most Americans don’t think that we should eliminate the Senate or the Pentagon.<\/p>\n

Again, no one stood up and told them to stick their manifesto up their you-know-what.<\/p>\n

So blaming Ken is like blaming the manager with a lousy pitching staff. Ken can’t do much and probably will get fired, too.<\/p>
