You\u2019re \u201cself-reliant,\u201d not a parasitic loafer on welfare, the grasshopper eating by the work of the ant.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the white experience means a functional family, with two parents in the home, a sense of \u201cindependence\u201d fostered amongst the children, and traditional roles for both mom and dad.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re white, you\u2019re \u201crational\u201d and thoughtful. Instead of making emotional decisions, you strive to be \u201cobjective\u201d and you place an \u201cemphasis\u201d on the \u201cscientific method\u201d when you interact with the world.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a white person reflecting on the past, you tend to focus on the history that actually built the West\u2014a place everyone must agree is peak civilization given the fact that the entire world wants to be here\u2014which happens to be <em>your<\/em> history. You don\u2019t pretend that the mud-hutters of the sub-Sahara were kings who conquered the world, and you don\u2019t fictionalize history to make sure tribal peoples of antiquity are equally included.<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/interstatelogisticshubs.com\/?p=3454\">Trump\u2019s alleged hatred for higher education has nothing to do with academia\u2019s collapse<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Being white also means a Christian (or \u201cProtestant\u201d) work ethic is essentially inherent, and indistinct from your identity. You\u2019re someone who thinks that to be successful you have to work hard, and you no doubt reject the idea that existence equals entitlement (logical inference would then suggest you\u2019re probably not a socialist).<\/p>\n<p>Whiteness is also politeness. You\u2019re someone who shows up on time for work, and you respect other people\u2019s schedules.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re white, you don\u2019t function in a 15-second window of past and future, satisfying every whim and indulging in every hedonistic impulse. You possess \u201cfuture orientation\u201d in your mindset.<\/p>\n<p>The list goes on, and I could make a million more sarcastic comments, but I\u2019m running out of room.<\/p>\n<p>A repudiation of whiteness?
