We all know politics is a space saturated with out-of-touch and thick-headed morons, but is there anyone that\u2019s quite near Newsom\u2019s level? Now, here\u2019s the post:<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/interstatelogisticshubs.com\/?p=3454\">Trump\u2019s alleged hatred for higher education has nothing to do with academia\u2019s collapse<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>TRUMP HATES GAMERS !! pic.twitter.com\/R9szwcKzh9<\/p>\r\n\u2014 Governor Newsom Press Office (@GovPressOffice) June 25, 2026<\/blockquote>\n<p>First off, California is actually one of just a handful of states that strictly regulate gaming computers, as part of their \u201cenergy-efficiency\u201d regulations and bureaucracy (the other five states are the Democrat hellholes of Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington). You literally aren\u2019t allowed to buy certain gaming computers because they draw too much from the grid, or something\u2014but data centers, with their guzzling of gazillions of gallons of water and electricity demands that compare to a mid-to-large-sized city are okay? (Newsom is a big proponent of the data centers.) The data center comparison is a sidenote, but also ironic.<\/p>\n<p>And, this ban on particular computers, including some Dell PCs, is a result of bureaucratic intervention from the California Energy Commission, and happened under Newsom\u2019s watch\u2014the ban was implemented in 2021. Trump hates gamers? If that\u2019s true, then Newsom hated them first. <strong>Irony #1.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Secondly, Newsom is using tariffs as evidence of Trump\u2019s alleged \u201chate\u201d for\u00a0 certain demographics (\u201cgamers\u201d). Well what are tariffs but\u2026 A fine for producing and participating in the market? A \u201ctax\u201d passed on to consumers? A penalty levied against business owners, because of political climate conditions? I\u2019m sure you see where I\u2019m going with this\u2014does Newsom have a leg to stand on when it comes to government levies? Abso-freaking-lutely not. In fact, he\u2019s one of the worst offenders: California has the highest income tax in the country, the most regulatory restrictions, and the heaviest tax burden for its citizens across the board. <strong>Irony #2.<\/strong><\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/interstatelogisticshubs.com\/?p=3451\">Yes, Van Jones, you built that<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And lastly, Newsom\u2019s little image in the corner of his press office account (seen above)?
