The primary election outcomes for numerous Democratic Socialists of America (\u201cDSA\u201d) candidates for public office are disturbing. It should come as no surprise that the DSA candidates don\u2019t represent, nor do they adhere to, the old-school Democrat political mindset.<\/p>

Although they appear on election ballots as Democrats, they are not Democrats. Far from it! The Democratic Socialists are an organized collective of trained, well-funded radicals who are challenging established, long-serving Democrats for political power, and they are winning. The publication of their recently published platform is extreme, alarming, and dangerously anti-American.<\/p>\n

In early June of this year, the top DSA leadership met in person to define their party platform, which consists of radicalized proposals to include scrapping the US Senate, abolishing the American capitalist economy, defunding the Department of War, granting blanket amnesty to all illegals currently residing in the United States, and replacing the President and the Supreme Court with executive and judiciary committees chosen by and subordinate to Congress. And that\u2019s just for starters.<\/p>\n

As if destroying the economy, dismantling two branches of the American government, and eliminating the US military isn\u2019t enough, the DSA leadership also added a plethora of controversial and extreme goals to include abolishing police and prisons, naming Jerusalem as the capital of \u201cPalestine,\u201d and instituting rank-choice voting in every state.<\/p>\n

Rallying behind their motto, \u201cWorkers Deserve More,\u201d<\/em> they believe their goals can be accomplished by public financing of political campaigns, abolishing the Electoral College, and transferring ownership and control of corporations and essential industries to public ownership.<\/p>
