Some lexicographers need to invent a new word to describe the\u00a0DSA platform for America.\u00a0\u00a0It is beyond bizarre.\u00a0\u00a0How, given all the failed socialist and communist experiments littering miserable human history, can anyone in his right mind prescribe such soul-destroying precepts?\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s an affront to human dignity and reason.<\/p>

Human behavior has often been examined through the prism of the \u201cNature versus Nurture\u201d conundrum.\u00a0\u00a0Even adopting elements of both is insufficient to explain the peculiar perversions of the DSA.<\/p>\n

Nature<\/em>\u00a0doesn\u2019t provide comprehensive insights.\u00a0\u00a0In fact, communism contradicts human nature, as empirically proven in all the failed communal experiments throughout history.\u00a0\u00a0In short, it\u2019s unnatural to work hard for a better life if one is not commensurately rewarded.\u00a0\u00a0Socialism-cum-communism is stultifying.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Focusing on\u00a0nurture<\/em>\u00a0is also insufficient in comprehending the tenuous tenets of the DSA.\u00a0\u00a0Although many impressionable minds have lazily succumbed to socialist indoctrination in post-modern education, many have not.\u00a0\u00a0Something else is at play.<\/p>\n

If the desperately despondent mindset of DSA advocates cannot solely be attributed to nature or nurture, how about \u201cnuttyture\u201d?\u00a0\u00a0A silly, made-up word, perhaps, but that\u2019s what it comes down to: They are all nuts.\u00a0\u00a0I don\u2019t need a shrink to confirm that, either.\u00a0\u00a0(Shrinks are perhaps the nuttiest of all, and they won\u2019t even put TDS in the DSM.)<\/p>

All the\u00a0DSA proposals\u00a0are nuts, but consider their demand for a 32-hour work week with no reduction in pay or benefits.\u00a0\u00a0Upon a superficial glance, that sounds hotsy-totsy.\u00a0\u00a0Indeed, with increased productivity courtesy of A.I., it may not be so far-fetched.\u00a0\u00a0Here\u2019s the problem: The socialist want to tax the living daylights out of our tech companies, enervating them in the process.\u00a0\u00a0Bernie (who doesn\u2019t \u201cearn any\u201d) wants to\u00a0essentially seize our A.I. companies.\u00a0\u00a0That\u2019s not democratic socialism; that\u2019s coercive communism.<\/p>\n

If you want less of something, tax it.\u00a0\u00a0More tax and more government confiscation means less productivity; in turn, that means less likelihood of implementing a reduced work week while maintaining salary and benefits levels.\u00a0\u00a0Yet, rather incongruously, the DSA\u2019s\u00a0main web page\u00a0is obnoxiously emblazoned with the phrase \u201cWorkers Deserve More\u201d in giant font.\u00a0\u00a0That\u2019s nutty: Their policies will ensure that workers get less.\u00a0\u00a0Perhaps it betrays their true motivation \u2014 that is, a dictatorship over the workers.<\/p>\n

DSA proponents have a decrepit nature and have succumbed to soul-crushing nurture.\u00a0\u00a0Their infected brains are inflexible; they are resistant to neuroplasticity.\u00a0\u00a0Instead, they are entrapped by socialist\/communist orthodoxy, always insisting that \u201cit will be different this time.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Isn\u2019t that the definition of nutty?\u00a0\u00a0Do they even have free will, or are they the \u201cwalking dead,\u201d marching obediently behind the grim socialist reaper in the communist collective?\u00a0\u00a0Bernie is a grim lookalike, don\u2019t you think?<\/p>\n

Unless the laws of nature and nurture have changed, it actually won\u2019t be different this time, especially in the magnificent heartland of America.\u00a0\u00a0As with so many of their ideological forebears, the DSA is also doomed to the scrap heap of history.\u00a0\u00a0Nature\u2019s imperatives, including the inherent human quest for freedom, must be obeyed.<\/p>
