Faced with this information morass, as we celebrate our 250th anniversary, we must ask, \u201cAre our best days ahead? Or are we doomed to fail?\u201d The choice is up to us. It\u2019s going to take clear thinking and hard work. I applaud all the conservative writers trying to explain what\u2019s happening to our country and what can be done to save it.<\/p>\n

The American experiment was unique in that it even considered that all men could be equal and that rights came from God, with power granted to the government only with the consent of those governed. David Robb explains,<\/p>\n

One of the most radical ideas of our revolution was that the general populace had both the right and the obligation to govern itself. There were to be no kings, no aristocracy, no emperors or caliphs or pharaohs. History was to serve as a guide, both for examples of failures and successes, for what worked and what didn\u2019t, but we were breaking new ground, charting new paths, and setting forth into an unknown future.<\/p>\n

A guiding principle was that each individual was given fundamental rights by Divine order, and not by any secular authority or government. It was a principle that held every person equal before man and God regardless of birth or race or creed. Moreover, every person, including those in positions of power, were to answer to a Highest authority for their actions here on earth\u2014an accountability that could not be evaded or dismissed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Before America was born, people lived on two levels\u2014the rulers and the ruled, kings and serfs, masters and slaves, the elites and the commoners. The rulers understood that controlling information meant controlling those whom they ruled.<\/p>\n

In the pre-Civil War United States, it was against the law to educate a slave. Without freedom of information, people could be brought to believe anything. Today, many Muslim children are placed in madrasas and taught that Jews are devils and must be exterminated. North Koreans believe Kim Jong Un is a god in human form.<\/p>\n

The liberal media have infected millions of liberals with Trump Derangement Syndrome and a love for communism, while the Left controls education. Or, as Lars M\u00f8ller writes,<\/p>\n

In The Decline of the West<\/em> (1918\u20131922), Oswald Spengler introduces a biological metaphor, comparing Western civilization to a living organism. Within this concept, Judeo-Christian ethics forms the pulsating heart\u2014the wellspring of compassion, human dignity, and the moral imperative to see the face of the other. Yet it is the brain\u2014cold, discerning, hierarchical, and relentlessly oriented towards truth\u2014that has propelled the West to unparalleled heights of inquiry, innovation, and ordered liberty. That brain is the academy, predicated on uncompromising meritocracy. When this cerebral faculty falters, the body politic convulses into senescence.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Kevin Finn, those sectors that control the flow of ideas in America have been faltering, for they become corrupt in the service of a single perspective:<\/p>\n

Influential sectors\u2014news media, political parties, academia, legal institutions, entertainment, and business have been systematically promoting only one perspective for many years. Elites in those institutions act as gatekeepers of information, morality, and culture. By ignoring misdeeds within their aligned groups while amplifying or fabricating those of opponents, they create a Manichean worldview: one side inherently virtuous, the other irredeemably corrupt.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As of now, America is the last thing standing between freedom and the subordination of all people across the globe. Also, as the wealthiest nation in history (I\u2019ve estimated our country\u2019s wealth at $320 trillion), it\u2019s a tremendous prize for the statist for whichever totalitarian group can grab it. Once they do, according to Ray DiLorenzo, they take property and give poverty and death:<\/p>\n

Private property confiscation worked in Russia in 1917, in China in 1949, in N. Korea in 1948, and in Cuba in 1959. Oh, they promised so much. But every one of them turned out to be an organized crime syndicate that cost between 65 and 100 million lives.<\/p>

A basic tenet of socialism is that dependency makes people easy to control. That is why Democrats traditionally love their poor so much. The last couple of decades have seen the uneducated (indoctrinated) added to the list.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Socialism is just another fancy name for totalitarianism, although the tyrants are more careful to hide their wealth than the old monarchs and aristocrats.<\/p>\n

But the yearning among America\u2019s self-styled elite and intellectuals to take complete control has seen them partnering with our geopolitical overseas enemies for a new kind of war against the American system. Instead of military power, the foreign powers ally with America\u2019s Fifth Column to rely on espionage, blackmail, targeted assassination, and recruiting \u201cuseful idiots\u201d to dismantle our country from the inside:<\/p>\n

It is increasingly coming into focus that the Left wants civil war. The Democrat Party\u2019s rhetoric has inflamed and continues to inflame their followers to a point of derangement.<\/p>\n

Our Constitution, from its inception, as John Adams explained so eloquently, \u201c…is made for a religious and moral people and is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.\u201d Adams meant that the U.S. Constitution relies on its citizens possessing internal virtue and self-restraint. How could the freedoms we are given work in any other way? No set of laws could possibly maintain order without its people having the internal qualities that can live with such freedom without resorting to despotism. The Old Testament taught us that laws, even God\u2019s laws, are ineffective unless approached with a repentant heart.<\/p>\n

The new Democrat Party has neither virtue, self-restraint, nor belief in God.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It all comes down to elections, and leftists are targeting them aggressively. According to Jim Hoft,<\/p>\n

The Election Crime Bureau published a stunning central library of election findings (visit the Evidence tab). They identify 10 main \u201cAttack Vectors\u201d through which election outcomes are shaped or shielded from scrutiny. Each of the 800+ findings from past elections supports President Trump\u2019s assertions that our elections can be stolen\u2014and were in 2020.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

California is Exhibit A for election corruption:<\/p>\n

The right to vote is among our most cherished liberties, but equally important is the public\u2019s confidence that every lawful vote — and only lawful votes — determines the outcome. Election integrity is not simply about preventing fraud; it is about preserving trust. An election that half the country believes was unfairly manipulated is an election that erodes trust in the republic and confidence in the system, regardless of who wins.<\/p>\n

Such elections have become standard practice in California — not by accident, but by intent. The state has embraced a philosophy that treats virtually every security measure as an obstacle to the apparent goal of maintaining one-party control. Each voter integrity safeguard, once considered common sense, has been systematically dismantled. Practices critics have long warned create opportunities for abuse have not merely been tolerated — they have been written into state law.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Even as we fight the left in a war of ideas, we can\u2019t stop focusing on the practical steps that can save the political process. If the United States is going to survive another 250 years or even the next ten, we must listen to the writings of our best thinkers and wake up to the reality of those who oppose us at every turn. We must root out dishonest judges and corrupt prosecutors and eliminate fundraising organizations like ActBlue that illegally funnel foreign money. We must insist that the Post office won\u2019t deliver to fake addresses or dead people. And we must take back our education system and fight back the lies of the last twenty years.<\/p>\n
