Make no mistake, the tragedy that is unfolding in Iran today was predicated on the new Islamic regime disarming the people in the 1980s.<\/p>\n

Prior to 1979, most Iranians were Western in apparel, appearance, and outlook.<\/p>\n

Then the mullahs took over and took away the citizens\u2019 right to own firearms (though the unalienable right — granted by our Creator — to defend oneself can never truly be repealed or cancelled \u2026 it can only be ceded, relinquished.)<\/p>\n

Now the women are in chadors\u00a0and only the IRGC has guns. It can \u2014 and does \u2014 happen that quickly.<\/p>\n

Much the same thing has happened in the U.K.\u00a0in recent years, and people are now getting arrested for tweets and memes.<\/p>\n

The story is the same in Venezuela and Australia.<\/p>\n

Other nations, such as Canada, are imposing ever stricter \u201cgun control\u201d laws. The left in the United States is desperate to disarm Americans, and, as more and more of them get elected, they will do so \u2026 if we let them.<\/p>\n

The most sinister aspect of the push for gun control is the fact<\/em>, unreported by the mainstream media, that Democrats and other ;eftists deliberately<\/em> create the conditions that push people to commit crimes and acts of violence. They foment envy, divisiveness and hate. They sow confusion and obfuscate truth. In so doing, they push for gender insanity and foster and nurture mental illness.<\/p>\n

Their policies deliberately<\/em> grow poverty and dependence, the very things leftists seize upon to capture disaffected, ignorant, and indoctrinated voters. They know their rhetoric is incendiary. And they have no intention of ever making things better for anyone but themselves, as they utilize the very problems they create<\/em> to convince people that they are sorely needed \u2026 to address those problems. And then they purport to mourn the tragic shootings their policies have wrought. This is despicable. This is depraved. This is sheer, unadulterated evil.<\/p>\n

The Democrat party has morphed into the Democratic-Socialist Party, but it has kept \u2014 if not augmented \u2014 its propensity for enslaving people.<\/p>\n

Any person, group, or government entity that purports to want to take away your Second Amendment rights for the \u201csafety\u201d of others is lying, no matter the type or quantity of firearms one might own. They are not doing it for \u201cgun control.\u201d That is a myth. They do this because they want to control you and I<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t let them take your guns. Don\u2019t let them take away your right to protect yourselves and your loved ones. Because that is simply a ruse to take away your freedom. It isn\u2019t gun control they want. It is human control. They want to be able to control you<\/em>. They <\/em>want the unchallenged power to determine the future, and want to make sure you aren\u2019t in the way.<\/p>\n

If we give up our guns, we may soon find ourselves residing in a Marxist state, our wives in burkas, and ourselves in prison.<\/p>\n
