The current crop of communists is, and has been, running for government offices as \u201cDemocratic Socialists,\u201d which sounds better; more benign, more friendly. But make no mistake, they are communists.<\/p>

I am reminded of the various fables about the scorpion and the frog, and the farmer and the snake. Both the frog and the farmer took in and helped deadly creatures, only to get themselves killed by each, respectively. The moral of both fables is that you never knowingly allow a deadly creature into your life or your home or your country.<\/p>\n

Yet here America is, taking in venomous, poisonous, deadly creatures into their body politic. The saddest, most dangerous aspect of this American largesse is that the creatures\u2019 deadly nature is being obscured by a turn of phrase; Democratic Socialist vs. Communist. They are communists using the Democrat party to advance communism.<\/p>\n

America\u2019s body has unfathomably and knowingly welcomed into its bloodstream a cancerous ticking time bomb. If this disease is permitted to take hold, if the \u201cDemocratic Socialists\u201d are permitted to hold high office, the disease will kill this body. America cannot survive communists in high places.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, and again, unfathomably, somehow communists now are elected officials. They don\u2019t call themselves communists, but they are wearing all the right anti-capitalist clothing. Mamdani et al. have indicated they want to do the one thing that communists always do: seize the means of production. But they start smaller: \u201cTurn your thermostats to 78\u00b0.\u201d Once Mamdani sees that people won\u2019t do that, it will become a problem of power companies\u2019 unwillingness to work \u201cfor the common good\u201d and so the communists will have to seize the power companies and inflict thermostat control on every living space and working space. Except Mamdani\u2019s and the other government parasites\u2019 of course.<\/p>\n

We are in a place I never believed I would see. I\u2019m old enough to remember when Americans had the same patriotic love for the country and would fight on the battlefields to save her. No longer. We have two Americas now, one of which wants reparations and to return \u201cstolen land\u201d to the so-called rightful owners.<\/p>

The two Americas at loggerheads are the freedom-loving America who is grateful for the country\u2019s founding, and who is willing to live and let live, earn and not confiscate. The other America wants everyone equally miserable with no chance at rising above their beginnings \u2014 in the name of the greater good. This is today\u2019s Democrat Socialist, a true communist who is panting to turn off your AC, your fridge, your car, and your credit card. Maybe even your life if you want to wave our flag or go to church.<\/p>\n

Did I mention that \u201cDemocratic Socialists\u201d would have no problems taking over the banks where you have your credit cards and loans? Privately owned banks would not be permitted and would be totally under the thumbs of communism. They might give you a weekly allowance if they\u2019re feeling generous or drunk with power that day.<\/p>\n

There is hope, though. There are more of us than there are of them and we have a POTUS who loves America and knows what is happening. We must take the midterms by storm if we have any hope of righting this ship of state. We can do this, but we have to get our blood up. We need warriors. We are Americans and we hate communism.<\/p>\n

One final thought: When you\u00a0feel a scorpion on your back as you cross the river, submerge. We have a country to save.<\/p>
