In celebration of America\u2019s 250th\u00a0birthday, a tribute to Old Glory seems befitting.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Look around.\u00a0 Slowly but surely, you will see the American flag everywhere, popping up like flowers in the springtime.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Of course, it was always there, waving proudly to passersby.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

This revered patriotic friend is humble and wise, beautiful and bold.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The U.S.flag is always with us.<\/p>\n

The American flag blesses our cities, towns, farms and homes.\u00a0 It is set like badges of honor on the lapels of buildings and yards.\u00a0\u00a0It beats feverishly and fervently in the wind.\u00a0\u00a0Sometimes the Stars and Stripes plays in the wind with full abandon and joy.\u00a0\u00a0Other times Old Glory is whipped and slammed about in gusty blows, never abandoning its steadfast pole.\u00a0 The banners of red, white and blue curls undulate endlessly, doing what flags do best, flapping and snapping, forever staying the course.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There is no letting up for the red,white and blue.\u00a0\u00a0Bone-chilling gales and hot steamy fronts are but a day in life of a flag.\u00a0\u00a0Through rain and shine, America\u2019s patriotic pal is soaking and sunning the fabric of our country.\u00a0\u00a0As sure as night follows day, challenging and rigorous demands confront our Nation.\u00a0 Through it all, Old Glory is watching over us, telling us to hang on and keep faith in what steadies and grounds us.\u00a0\u00a0Stand for our American flag. \u00a0Celebrate joy and pride in its essence.\u00a0 Our flag is the candle on America\u2019s birthday cake.<\/p>\n

Take notice the next time the Stars and Stripes waves a snappy hello, drapes a quite salute, or flows a gentle smile your way.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
