Maybe — and rightfully — they\u2019re intent on restoring full funding to DHS\/TSA, etc. No matter their righteous intentions, their estimates\u00a0are in the ballpark.<\/p>

In fact, our American-World Cup (okay, Mexico and Canada are also hosting a sprinkling of matches, but most of the fun is in America the Beautiful) has already shattered attendance records, and we still have many \u201cSuper Bowl\u201d equivalents to go.<\/p>\n

While the players get to indulge in hydration breaks during matches, our fantastic law-enforcement agencies must always remain alert. Thank you! I don\u2019t think even English soccer hooligans will be able to spoil the party this time (it should be noted that the vast majority of them are \u201clovely\u201d).<\/p>\n

Speaking of parties\u2026 my God, have you seen the Dutch? I\u2019m not hip, but the word \u201cinsane\u201d is being bandied about on social media. For me, that word best describes demented Dems, but for hip people (I guess, though it may be old-fashioned by the time I finish here) it affectionately describes the overwhelming exuberance fans from around our world are manifesting in Great-Again America. The imbibing Scots are going home (at least their team is knocked out, but I gather some bagpipe-playing fans remain to drink us dry), but the Orange Dutch are rampant, as witnessed below.<\/p>

Some so-called \u201cmust-see\u201d video clips are entirely avoidable, but this is truly a \u201cmust-see.\u201d This one is even more \u201cinsane.\u201d I believe it registered on the Richter Scale. The tune they\u2019re bouncing around to is titled \u201cLinks Rechts,\u201d which translates to \u201cLeft Right.\u201d That\u2019s typical of the Netherlands\u2019 multi-party system. They should make their minds up and keep bounding to the \u201cright,\u201d but this little confection is not about politics. The intent is to emphasize that this is not just the World Cup, but the glorious American World Cup.<\/p>\n

As Dutch and many other fans have testified, they don\u2019t have to ask for anything — we just give it to them. We are the most generous people gracing the most beautiful landscapes. As a lovely English lass pondered: \u201cHow the hell is this actually real?\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, behind the insane World Cup scenes, our dedicated security and law enforcement agencies are, with many \u201cSuper Bowls\u201d still pending, enabling the better angels of our nature to dance joyfully — though they’d find more of that to the “Rechts.” Thank you, and God Bless America.<\/p>
