G7 leaders welcomed President Trump\u2019s tentative agreement with Iran aimed at preventing a nuclear weapon, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and stabilizing the region. They also reaffirmed strong support for Ukraine, promising more air defense systems, long-range capabilities, and increased pressure on Russia through sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>On the surface, it was another successful high-profile meeting with a clear-eyed view of world affairs. But one glaring reality ruins the picture: President Trump walked straight into a nest of vipers. Every member of that European contingent dislikes him, many outright hate him, yet they put on the performance of lifelong friends the moment he enters the room. This hypocrisy grows more obvious with each summit, especially now as we head toward the November midterms where the GOP\u2019s current congressional majority faces serious challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Europe\u2019s record over the past year reveals the truth. The continent\u2019s leaders are united, but only in their animosity toward Trump and the America that is finally putting common sense first, in stark contrast to the chaotic, open-border, weakness-first approach of the Biden era.<\/p>\n<p>Consider the results from the major trade deal struck between President Trump and Europe in Scotland back in July 2025. Almost nothing meaningful has followed. Has the EU or NATO stepped up to support U.S. and Israeli operations against Iran when it mattered most? Not once. Have NATO allies finally raised their military spending to the 5% of GDP level the Trump administration demanded? Still no. Was the Greenland matter settled the way America needs it for our shared security interests? Nothing. These were core requests from Washington. Europe made the usual promises and commitments, and delivered on almost none of them.<\/p>\n<p>The same pattern holds on China. Has the EU truly embraced America\u2019s call for serious trade restrictions and a coordinated approach to Beijing\u2019s economic aggression? Very little has been done.<\/p>\n<p>Another indicator of Europe\u2019s attitude towards Trump and contemporary America can be seen in its media. Here we call these \u201clegacy media,\u201d for they\u2019ve been deeply involved in serving the Deep State and Democrat party\u2019s interests, often spreading blatant lies. The supposedly \u201cindependent\u201d EU-influenced outlets like Brussels-based Politico have run hit pieces, including dubious spring 2026 claims about President Trump\u2019s mental fitness, fabrications we remember and monitor closely.<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/interstatelogisticshubs.com\/?p=1560\">Wind power and the iron law of diminishing returns<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yet at this G7, just like every other gathering, the same European leaders who privately seethe at Trump smiled, hugged, and posed for photos with him. They used the opportunity to push their own priorities: ramping up support for Kyiv, tightening the screws on Moscow, and, most revealingly, pushing for licensed weapons production inside Ukraine itself, starting with systems like Patriot air defenses. A terrible war is raging, no question. But shifting production to Ukrainian soil would simply siphon jobs and profits away from American factories and American workers. Why reward Europe with that concession when they have failed to honor almost every prior commitment to this administration?<\/p>\n<p>There is nothing wrong with supporting Ukraine, provided that support actually serves American interests and is designed to end the war, not prolong it indefinitely. The EU, however, is pushing the opposite: more weapons, more money, and now even licensed production inside Ukraine itself. This is simply Biden\u2019s failed approach dressed up in new packaging, endless conflict with no realistic path to peace.<\/p>\n<p>The lesson is clear. We must be far more clear-eyed about our foreign policy. Our so-called partners and allies in Europe are openly rooting for a change of power in Washington, both on Capitol Hill and in the White House. They want the old days back.<\/p>\n<p>America\u2019s interests come first. Always. We will work with Europe when it genuinely serves us, but we will no longer pretend that a nest of vipers is a circle of friends. President Trump understands this.
