Everyone should celebrate the joys of capitalism and the IPO on SpaceX, but sadly, what we hear from many in the media and other Democrats, is jealousy and hate of Elon Musk for being so rich.<\/p>

They do not celebrate the over 4,000 workers at the company who toiled for years and are now rich. Democrats would rather have people be dependent on the government and stay poor than have opportunities like SpaceX.<\/p>\n

They do not celebrate or care about all the money risked and the innovation that allowed this company to succeed. All they think about is how much money they think the government should get.<\/p>\n

Capitalism is why America is the richest and most powerful country in the world\u2014because of capitalism and freedom, not because of a powerful government.<\/p>\n

The multiplier effect of capitalism is also phenomenal. The money trickles throughout the economy. It is much better for the economy when companies and individuals are allowed to keep more of their money to save, spend, and invest than to have larger amounts going to the government, subsidizing politicians and bureaucrats and non-producers, before then trickling a fraction back.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the people and families who have earned tremendous wealth because they took risks and invested time and treasure into the capitalistic society of the United States.<\/p>\n
