One of those problems was the missing kids, a total tragedy to say the least.\u00a0 The Trump administration updated the country on the story this week and it was amazing.\u00a0 Let\u2019s check this out:<\/p>\n

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin announced Thursday that the Trump administration has located 146,000 unaccompanied migrant children who were trafficked into the United States during the Biden administration and subsequently lost.<\/p>\n

During a news conference at the Department of Justice with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and other Trump administration officials, Mullin credited a joint effort between DHS, ICE and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for finding the missing children, which he said President Trump has made a high priority.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, nearly 300,000 minors remain unaccounted for, according to Mullin, although officials continue to search for them.<\/p>\n

The DHS secretary lamented that Democrats and their allies in the media continue to demonize DHS and ICE as they work to find them, telling reporters that investigators are examining horrific abuse allegations, including claims from some children that they were \u2018raped 600 to 700 times.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I don\u2019t care who you are,\u2019 he said. \u2018If you can\u2019t stand for law enforcement to go find these kids, who are you?\u2019<\/p>

Mullin attributed the child trafficking crisis to the Biden administration\u2019s failure to vet sponsors and conduct wellness checks, saying it was \u2018true neglect at best and criminal at worst to allow 450,000 kids to go missing throughout this country.\u2019<\/p>\n

He also stated that most of the trafficked minors were being found in \u2018sanctuary\u2019 cities, calling out New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani specifically for not allowing federal immigration agents into the city to conduct immigration enforcement operations.<\/p>\n

Officials described a lax system under the Biden administration where \u2018super sponsors\u2019 used fraud to gain custody of multiple children, often lying about familial relationships.<\/p>\n

Blanche noted that many of these children were abused, assaulted, and exploited by criminal networks linked to drug cartels while being trafficked into the country.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s unbelievable to read this report.\u00a0 What could go wrong when you allow criminal networks to operate in sanctuary cities?\u00a0 We know now.<\/p>\n

We are happy that DHS is finding some kids and looking for more.\u00a0 Glad to see their commitment to fixing this problem, but let\u2019s hope that someone in the Biden administration is held accountable for such a colossal case of lawness and corruption.\u00a0 It\u2019s hard to believe that no one in the Biden White House knew about these kids falling in the hands of criminal networks.\u00a0 It\u2019s even worse that nothing was done to help the kids or demand accountability from sanctuary cities.<\/p>
