No phenomenon better illustrates howling phoniness: Democrats who falsely smeared President Trump as Hitler, and defamed patriotic MAGA Americans as Nazis, buoyed Maine senatorial candidate Graham Platner atop their shoulders on primary election night.<\/p>

Recent months\u2019 news accounts detailed Platner\u2019s foulness: the SS Deathshead \u201cTotenkopf\u201d tattoo he proudly wore for some 19 years (until investigative lights shone), his history of violent domestic abuse, his habit of referring to women with gutter vulgarian verbiage, his vow to rape home invaders as a means of establishing dominance, and wishing death upon a bullets-wounded U.S. military veteran.<\/p>\n

As former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer observed while a\u00a0Hannity<\/em>\u00a0guest on primary election night that Democrats today won\u2019t support longtime ally Israel, but they will endorse a Nazi-tattoo guy.<\/p>\n

Platner will now face RINO Susan Collins in November. \u00a0Even if party elders eventually switch out Platner for a generally palatable candidate, the damning stain is set.<\/p>\n

Never again can Democrats plausibly claim to oppose fascism. \u00a0Nor that they support women. \u00a0Not even that they back soldiers who risk lives in defense of America.<\/p>\n

But they undoubtedly will. \u00a0Style over substance is the Democrat way. \u00a0During the Senate\u2019s recent SPLC fraud hearings, multiple Democrats who accept\u00a0Platner insisted that they revile bigotry. \u00a0Janus dances.<\/p>

Democrats from Bernie Sanders to Chuck Schumer, from Ro Khanna to Elizabeth Warren, and from James Carville to Ruben Gallego have pedaled a multi-rider bicycle in Platner\u2019s defense. \u00a0Their mantra: Democrats must retake control of the Senate \u2014 \u201cby any means necessary\u201d being the unuttered subtext.<\/p>\n

Made undeniably plain by Democrat\u00a0leaders\u2019 backing of Platner is that theirs is a party with neither conscience nor decent principles.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve shown themselves to be counterfeits of the lowest order.\u00a0 They will forever cast swastika shadows.<\/p>\n
